Leg Pain!
Question:
Hello All, I recently underwent a biospy to my right hip for suspision of recurrent Lymphoma, for the first week i had pretty severe pain which was cause from the surgery but after the first week another weird occurence has happened and I was wanting to see if anyone might know what this sounds like. Since the surgery on the 15th of Jan alls mostly been ok but recently when i get in a sitting position with my right leg bent at the knee i get this intense tingling in my right hip that feels like when you hit your funny bone after about two minutes the tingling is all the way down my leg and into the tips of my toes then after about five minutes of this tingling my leg goes numb then if i stand on it i get these intense stabbing pains in my right ankle that feels like someones driving a nail into my ankle. worried about this and i’m not scheduled to see my ortho until the 17th of feb and i don’t want to call his office and appear to be a whiner if it is actually nothing.
Response:
If I understand correctly, they took bone from your hip? If this is so, then the pain is bone pain and sounds like a little nerve pain. I have had both, and it is not fun in any way. Go ahead and complain . . . it’s NOT whining. It sound as if there may have been some nerve damage during surgery. Sounds like sciatica to me.Not the most enjoyable condition as anyone who suffers from it can tell you. But you only have 7 or so days to wait for an authoritative opinion, let us know what your doctor says ,won’t you hope it is something fixable. aussie annieb – Hide quoted text — Show quoted text – Hello All, I recently underwent a biospy to my right hip for suspision of recurrent Lymphoma, for the first week i had pretty severe pain which was cause from the surgery but after the first week another weird occurence has happened and I was wanting to see if anyone might know what this sounds like.
