Help Chronic Pain

Question:

I am on disability for RSD because I had carpal tunnel surgery and the surgery was botched up. This was work related and I haven’t been paid in several years and I have been through alot of Doctors because each time they find out that this is work related they tell me that they don’t want to get involved. The last pain doctor and orthopedic surgeon told me that the insurance company sends patients to them and that I should find another Doctor and I couldn’t do anything about them denying me treatment because I have no proof. I need help because I need a Doctor who is honest and cares about people and not about lining his pockets in gold. Does anyone know of any groups that are fighting crooked insuarance companies, insurance lawyers and quacks that work for them? Please find it in your heart to help me find an honest Doctor or Pain Clinic and If anyone knows of an organization that fights crooked workman’s comp. people please let me know.

The first thing you might want to do for yourself is find a Worker’s Compensation Attorney!!!!!  You need legal backing.  Without it, they will do what they can to screw you.   As for a Pain Dr., what area of the country are you in?  What state?  City?? CATLADY–YOU SAID YOU HAVE NOT BEEN PAID FOR SEVERAL YRS FOR YOUR WORK RELATED INJURY. YOU SHOULD FILE A CLAIM AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. I DO NOT KNOW THE WORK COMP LAWS IN YOUR STATE— BUT IN MY STATE IT IS 3 YEARS.  I HAVE BEEN DEALING WITH THESE PEOPLE FOR 5 YRS FOR WORK RELATED INJURY—- DO THEY PAY MEDICAL BILLS?MEDICINES? IF THEY DON`T YOU BETTER GET ON IT. SOON. SEE AN ATTORNEY HE SHOULD KNOW OF A DR. WHO WILL TREAT YOU.  IF WC PAID YOUR SURGERY BILLS IT HAS BEEN PROVEN YOUR INJURY IS WORK RELATED —-.YOU NEED TO BE PERSISTENT .DON`T BE INTIMIDATED BY THEM.
