Lower Back Pain with Tempur-Pedic Matress
Question:
I tried the Tempur-Pedic and returned it. I decided to sleep in my Lazy boy recliner one night. I have not gone back to my bed since. I do not have any stiffness or back pain in the morning. The pain in my hip as a result of a herniated disc is gone. I have been doing this for three month and absolutely no back pains. Walter H. Klaus "Paul" <turningleave…@yahoo.com> wrote in message

I love the Tempur- Pedic. I was advised by a physical therapist to take to the habit of sleeping with a pillow between my knees as this helps align the spine and hips. Abdominal exercises also help.

I’m evaluating the Tempur-Pedic mattress and I think the comfort is great. However, after approx. 3 weeks with the mattress I still have lower back pain and stiffness in the morning. I’ve read other posts with people having back pain with the Tempur-Pedic. This mattress did not cause the lower back pain, but I was hoping that it would help reduce it after replacing my standard spring mattress. Have you experienced similar lower back pain with the Tempur-Pedic and what have you done, if anything, to remedy it? Thanks.
